The heat advisory for the Southeast Texas Region continues to be extended through late this evening today. Current forecasts show highs for today from 97-102 degrees (F) allowing the heat index to reach from 105-110 degrees. As we proceed into Monday and Tuesday, the heat is predicted to increase with high temperatures reaching from 98-104 degrees with the higher temperatures seen further inland from the coast.
