A hard freeze warning is in effect for the majority of Southeast Texas for tonight and tomorrow night. An arctic airmass in in place over the area with the recent passing of the cold front during the morning hours today. The air mass is expeced to bring the coldest temperatures of the season to our area. Temperatures are expected to drop as we continue into the evening and are expected to drop below freezing during the early morning hours around 2am and remain below freezing though the early morning hours. Temperatures are expected to remain below freezing for 9-12 hours tonight and potentially 12-15 hours tomorrow night. Remember to take precautions to protect your pets, pipes, and plants.
