Tropical Storm Erika formed around 5pm today just to the east of Puerto Rico. The tropical storm is moving to the West-Northwest at 9mph and is forecast to slowly straighten over the next few days. Currently the storm could post a threat to the Southeast Texas Gulf Coast due to its track in the future. We will be closely monitoring the storm over the next few days.
