Hurricane Paula is just barely into the Gulf of Mexico but is not predicted to threaten our area. The storm is on a North East track as a weak Category 1 Hurricane (75mph winds) and is predicted to make landfall on the Cuban coast sometime this afternoon or evening. Paula is predicted to decrease to tropical depression strength as is slowly arcs to the South East over Cuba over the weekend
