Large upper low over Texas today continues to draw large amounts of moisture into the area from the gulf. Rains yesterday dropped 1-2.5in in just a few hours over West and NW Harris County and Fort Bend County. Conditions today are favorable for numerous thunderstorms. These storms will likely start near the coast and move inland further throughout the day. These storms are predicted to move slowly and depending on the amounts of rainfall per hour, flash flooding could be possible, as grounds are already saturated. West Harris County and Chambers County are already seeing steady rainfall from these conditions this morning.
