WPC Predictive Rainfall (1-3 days)
The latest models are steering slightly westward when compared to yesterday. The storm is near Tropical Storm force currently and may be named by this evening.
Currently our Southeast Texas Region is still on the west side of the storm center. Most of the rain will be focused on the East side (the dirty side). 5-6 inches of rain on this dirty side is predicted.
If the storm does continue it’s western shift, and we are impacted by the dirty side, high rainfall in our are will be a possibility.
There is little notice with storms in the Gulf so stay tuned.
